The Municipality of Jesolo joins the international awareness day on neurofibromatosis, a rare genetic syndrome.
On Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 May 2023 the Jesolo Library will be lit up in blue and green, and the Jesolo sign in Piazza Drago will be lit up in blue, for the initiative Shine a light on NF - Turn on a light on Neurofibromatosis (NF), organised by the Children's Tumor Foundation worldwide, to raise awareness in society, institutions and the scientific community about this genetic disease that affects more than 20,000 people in Italy - 2 million people worldwide - and has a higher incidence than cystic fibrosis and muscular dystrophy combined.
